Welcome to the family

First summer? Here's how we make it easy.

Every camper here was a first-timer once. This page is for the parents lying awake wondering if their kid will be okay. (They will. Here's why.)

What if my child is nervous?

Completely normal — and exactly what our structure is built for. Small bunks, each with its own hand-picked counselors, so counselors notice everything and no one gets lost in a crowd. Rabbi Motti and Fraidy are hands-on every morning and check in with new campers and their parents.

Do they need to know anyone?

No. Bunks are built to make friends fast — morning songs, team games, and buddy-style activities mean most first-timers find their people by the end of week one. Almost every camper comes back the next summer, usually with those same friends.

Do we need a Jewish background?

Not at all. Campers come from every Jewish background, no prior Jewish education is needed, and observance level is never stressed. The Jewish part of camp is songs, challah, celebrations and pride — all joy, zero judgment.

What if something comes up mid-day?

Call the office. Every counselor is in radio contact with the directors, and a camp nurse handles anything health-related. You can always reach a director at 720-774-1235.

Can we try just one week?

Yes — registration is weekly. Lots of first-time families start with a single session and add weeks once camp fever sets in (it will).
